Electric Applicator
Directions for Use:
1. It is important to remember to preheat the applicator
for approximately 15 minutes. Dip into mastic and with
a twist-of-the-wrist action, fill the applicator bowl.
2. Apply mastic to back of the mirror or the substrate. It
is not necessary that the edge of the applicator bowl touch
the surface, as the mastic will release itself. Apply a
minimum of one (1) mound for every square
foot (30.5cm) of mirror. Do not apply mastic too close to
the edge, to prevent "squeeze out". Apply the
mounds so space will be left between them when the mirror
is installed.Press mirror firmly in place making good contact
with the substrate.
3. There are approximately 130 pats of mastic per gallon
when using the applicator.
4. It is recommended to always use a drop cloth.
Note: When using the applicator, occasionally
wipe with a dry rag while warm. For future protection and
longer life, clean the unit after each installation. When not
in use, DO NOT leave applicator in the mastic. Use the metal
cradle provided. If applicator is left in the mastic, the
heating element will overheat and burn out.
